About

I teach, design, and build. The common requirement is clarity.

Teaching and technical work both require a sound explanation, a workable structure, and careful attention to the person using the result.

Professional background

Mathematics, science, tutoring, resources, and software.

I teach secondary mathematics and science at Whitsunday Christian College, including senior Essential Mathematics. From 2016 to 2025 I also ran an independent mathematics tutoring practice, supporting learners from foundational topics to senior and early university mathematics.

That experience reinforced a straightforward principle: an explanation should show the structure of the idea. I prepare unit plans, lessons, worked examples, practical investigations, assessments, revision materials, diagrams, spreadsheets, and family communications with that principle in mind.

I also develop software prototypes, simulations, interactive mathematics, educational games, and local tools. These projects sharpen systems thinking. Classroom work keeps that thinking grounded in real users and real constraints.

My Christian faith informs a commitment to truth, patience, care, responsible stewardship, and service.
